Yahoo! wanted to make a big splash at the Consumer Electronics Show when they introduced two new channels of curated content: Yahoo! Food and Yahoo! Tech
STRATEGY
Yahoo! had a few surprises to announce at CES, including the introduction of two new digital magazines as part of Yahoo’s long-term strategy. The magazines are curated by experts in their field; they are elegant, beautiful and have a distinctive voice. For Marissa Mayer’s live introduction of Yahoo! Food, Camp Creative designed and produced a flashy and energetic motion graphics video that literally had the food flying off the page.
OUTCOME
By all accounts, the launch of Yahoo! Food and Yahoo! Tech were very successful. Mayer’s keynote got a ton of great press, and was one of the highlights of CES.
